Summary of Position
The Export Training Program Manager will be the Edmonton Chamber’s lead on delivering the WTC-E Trade Program to companies in Northern Alberta and the Territories along with our partners, the World Trade Centre Toronto and Edmonton Economic Development Corporation. The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, and will support economic growth and development while building long-lasting relationships and trust with external stakeholders. Building collaborative relationships within local industry and community while connecting regional, national and international networks will be key to the success of this role.
You must be an enthusiastic and collaborative leader; capable of shifting gears from pedestrian and necessary tasks to facilitating strategic conversations in the blink of an eye. You must have excellent communication skills, be results-oriented, and have the demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize workflow in a fluid environment. You must also have the stamina to keep up with a fast-paced environment that will put you at the epicentre of the business community.

The successful candidate will need to maintain flexible availability in order to accommodate a demanding schedule as events can occur during early mornings and evenings. WTC-E activities require careful scheduling and may involve changes due to speakers’ schedules and other considerations. Light lifting of equipment is also required.
